Whether this will be your first home purchase or your 100th, we want the excitement and experience to remain with you for years to come.

Special care has been taken in both the location choice and design of your new home so that you can enjoy your family time together in beautiful, elegant surroundings.

Each home is lovingly built to the highest specification using only the very best tradespeople and materials to ensure that it truly reflects your lifestyle.

Reserve your home

Your home will be reserved for a period of 28 days after paying the reservation fee. MH Stainton Homes promises not to offer the property to anyone else during this period. Any extensions to this must be with the agreement of MH Stainton Homes. A copy of your reservation agreement will be given to you for your records.

You should choose and appoint your own solicitor or conveyancer to represent your interests and deal with the legal formalities of buying your new home.

We comply with the Consumer Code for Home Builders. This code requires that all Home Buyers are treated fairly. A copy of the Consumer Code will be given to you following reservation.

Communication

We will always be clear and transparent with any information we will give to you.

You will be kept informed of the build progress at various stages by our Project Co-Ordinator who will be on hand to advise of any possible changes, upgrades or bespoke finishes that are available to you.

You will be asked from time to time to attend site especially at the first fix stage to ensure your requirements are correct before further works are carried out.

Bespoke Additions

Even though your new home will be built to an exceptional level as standard, our team know that the ability to pick your own colours, upgrade materials and make your dream living space come to life is as good as it gets. Our specialist suppliers offer incremental upgrades which you can pick and choose based on your preferences. Our Project Co-Ordinator will talk through what is available once your home is reserved and project communication begins.

Site Visit

Due to the fact that your safety is of paramount importance to us, we will ensure that we provide you with health and safety advice during any visits to the development whilst it is in construction and also provide you with any essential clothing/equipment.

With this in mind, all visits to site would be by appointment only.

Handover

We always aim to complete our projects as close to the dates first given to you at the reservation stage, however, sometimes due to circumstances beyond our control (such as weather conditions) this may need to change so we will give you reliable updates should this occur.

Once MH Stainton Homes has received the quality assurance certificate from LABC, this will be passed to our solicitors who will be in contact with your representative to arrange legal completion and move in dates.

We know that moving day can be hectic so approximately one week before completion we will arrange to meet with you in your new home for a home demonstration, which is where we go through each room to explain the key elements such as your heating, lighting, amongst other parts of your home. The kitchen appliance demonstration will be carried out by our designated kitchen supplier. If you have made any bespoke choices then we will also go through these with you. This will give you valuable time to understand your home before moving in and also so we can answer any questions you may have before the big day.

Post move in visit

Once you have moved into your home, you will have a further 14 days to inform us if you find any other issues not originally seen.

We want you to enjoy and use your home to its full potential so we will ensure that you have a full Homeowners Pack available which will include: warranty documents, user guides, useful contact numbers, supplier details for your flooring, tiling, sanitary wear etc. We will also include handy information on maintaining your equipment ensuring longevity.

You will be given a dedicated email for your Customer Care Co-Ordinator who will aim to answer any queries within 5 days and arrange any necessary appointments to rectify the issues.

Aftercare

We hope that you will never need to make a complaint, however, should the need arise then we will deal with your complaint in a courteous, professional and timely manner to help with resolution.
